Chairman – Daniel Belizaire

Mr. Daniel Belizaire grew up in a household of hoteliers where his father and mother worked throughout the Caribbean in various senior management positions. At an early age, Daniel had already known what he wanted to become and it was only natural that on leaving school he pursued what he considered to be his dream.

That dream started in Trinidad at the Trinidad Hilton at age 18 and from there moved to the Chaconia Inn, Calypso Beach Resort and finally Holiday Inn as assistant manager. In 1988, newly married, he decided to leave Trinidad due to the increasing crime and violence and settled in Saint Lucia and became the youngest Saint Lucian to manage a resort on island. Over the years he has managed two properties namely; East Winds Inn where he was instrumental in providing guidance in the design and construction.  He then moved to Marigot Bay Resort in 1990.

In 1992 Daniel opened his own company DmB Holdings Limited with its three subsidiary businesses, Sani Products & Services (SPS), Advance Building Maintenance Services (ABMS) and Hospitality Management Services . SPS and ABMS are the leading service providers in the janitorial services and products service industry while Hospitality Management Services is a consultancy company that supplies services at all levels of the service chain within the Hospitality Industry. A fourth business; Quality Products & Services will also be launched soon to manufacture environmentally safe, green cleaning products for both the domestic and business community. He has owned and operated offices in Grenada, Trinidad, Antigua and St. Kitts. Today, he is focused on Saint Lucia and St. Kitts after selling his interests in the other islands.

Daniel is the Deputy Mayor of Gros Islet and serves as the 1st Vice President of the Saint Lucia Hotel & Tourism Association (SLHTA). He has served on the SLHTA Board for over twelve years and prides himself as being one of the longest serving members on that Board. Additionally, he serves as a director on the Board of Saint Lucia Trade Export Promotion Agency TEPA) and the Events Company of Saint Lucia Inc.
