Anthony Wilkie Jr, Senior Officer – Training, Promotion and Development

Anthony Wilkie Jr. is a dynamic cultural practitioner, creative producer, and youth mentor with a strong background in theatre arts, event coordination, and event management. He is deeply committed to the preservation and evolution of Saint Lucian cultural expression. 

Mr. Wilkie Jr. is a qualified educator with a decade of teaching experience, and has pursued additional training in arts management, stage production, and project management. His academic and professional journey reflects a passion for storytelling, performance, and the transformative power of the arts. 

Before joining the Cultural Development Foundation (CDF), Mr. Wilkie contributed significantly to Saint Lucia’s cultural landscape through his work with various community-based initiatives, theatre collectives, and national events. He has served as a director, scriptwriter, performer, trainer, and facilitator, empowering young people to find their voice through performance and cultural exploration. 

His strengths lie in acting, creative direction, programme development, event management, and coordination. He is also known for his collaborative spirit and ability to bridge tradition with contemporary forms of expression—qualities that make him a valued contributor to Saint Lucia’s cultural sector. 

At the CDF, Mr. Wilkie brings practical experience in programme development and implementation, bridging the gap between education and culture and a deep commitment to youth development, empowerment and cultural sustainability, helping to advance the Foundation’s mission of nurturing and celebrating Saint Lucia’s artistic heritage.
