Christine Samuel debuts her book “Dance Footprints”

Christine Samuel debuts her book “Dance Footprints” on Saturday April 10, 2021 at the National Cultural Centre at 3pm.
“Angela Christine Samuel, known to many as “The Dancer”, is an acclaimed Saint Lucian Dancer, Visual Artist, Designer, and a retired Theatre Arts Teacher. She is a graduate of the Edna Manley College of the Performing Arts in Jamaica (BFA Dance) and SUNY College of Brockport in the USA (Cum Laude). Christine has received several national awards in Saint Lucia for her outstanding work as a Performer, Choreographer and Teacher. In 2011 she was honored with the National Award of Excellence from the Ministry of Education for her contribution to Arts Education and in 2020, she was awarded the Saint Lucia Medal of Merit (Silver) at the National Independence Awards. Her career as a dancer spans over 40 years and she established and managed her own dance institution, the Christylights Dance Academy, as a premiere institution for Arts Education in Saint Lucia.”
